    Principal Accountabilities

    • Assistsin managing the department's Hazardous Material(HAZMAT)/Environmental Safety & Health programs inaccordance with (IAW) Amentum Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)and Work Instructions (WI), established guidance and HAZMATdirectives.
    • Performs Equipment Custodian duties for allassigned MRAP if necessary.
    • Reviews Standard Base SupplySystem (SBSS)/Amentum supply documents to verify status of parts.
    • Submits the Local Purchase (LP) supply documents toprocure items such as test/shop equipment, and consumable items.
    • Reviews and inventories Organizational Equipment Lists(OEL), calibration lists and Contract Data Requirement Lists(CDRL).
    • Monitors monthly SBSS produced D04,C49's, D-18 and M14 listing for status of equipment andparts.
    • Monitor the Delayed Maintenance (PCN15) Reportand perform monthly reconciliation with Superintendent/Supervisoras required.
    • Prepares and submits quality/materialdeficiency reports and Technical Order (TO) changes as required.
    • Inspects hazardous materials within the assigned workcenter and coordinates with the appropriate office for the disposalof HAZMAT when required.
    • Stocks, maintains andrequisitions parts, tools and supplies to perform required work onassets.
    • Responsible for MRAP Shop Stock and Bin locationprograms.
    • Responsible for the inspection, inventory andaccountability of Other Vehicle Equipment (OVE) and replacementglass programs.
    • Assists in supporting special tools,shop stock, Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE),safety and environmental shop functions.
    • Initiatecannibalization (AF Form 1832) request in necessary.
    • Operates material handling equipment as required.
    • Assists in the preparation of vehicles/equipment for air/land/seamovement as required.
    • Provides assistance and trainother workers in IMDS as required for IMDS transactions.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Works in normal officeand maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be requiredto work outdoors for extended periods.
