Department
PETROCHEMICALS MARKETING
Primary purpose of job
Origination, marketing and sales (or purchase) of petroleum products representing the front face for QatarEnergy (Muntajat)
to global clients.
Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for new business development and marketing and selling of petroleum products in accordance with approved
- Negotiate contracts for the sale of petroleum products in accordance with preagreed pricing and contracting principles
- Product evacuation: Ensure efficient and effective product sales to avoid tank tops and/or distressed sales
- Maximize the economic benefit and global market value of exported petroleum products, whilst minimizing risk, costs and
- Manage performance to deliver agreed KPI's as per functional plan and overall QatarEnergy strategy
Experience & Skills:
- At least 10 years of professional work experience with 8 years of experience in petrochemical marketing, trading and/or
- Marketing and trading of petroleum commodities, sales and clientrelationship management must be demonstrated in
- Experience in origination of new clients and/or markets.
- Experience in commercial risk and risk management.
- Experience in financial controls and business controls.
- Experience in commercial agreement negotiations and implementation.
- Knowledge of product value chain and areas in commercial agreements where further value can be extracted and where
- Excellent negotiation skills. Strong ability to conclude deals with clients and finalize sales agreements.
Education
Bachelor's degree in the field of Business/Commerce (Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, etc) or in the field of
Engineering (with relevant experience in marketing and sales).
