Objective:
The Commercial Manager will lead the commercial, financial, and business development activities for the Technical Engineering, Wood Works, and Contracting Divisions.
This role is essential in driving the divisions toward operational excellence, financial health, and strategic growth, ensuring they meet their objectives in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Strategy Development and Implementation: Formulate commercial strategies that align with the overarching goals of the Technical Engineering, Wood Works, and Contracting Divisions, aiming to boost growth and market share. Assess and adapt to market trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Financial Oversight and Management: Oversee the financial health of each division, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Implement strategies to optimize profitability, manage costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead the negotiation, drafting, and management of contracts across the divisions. Ensure contracts are compliant with legal requirements and company policies, and manage commercial risks effectively.
- Business Development and Expansion: Drive the expansion of the divisions through strategic business development efforts. Identify new business opportunities, forge strong relationships with clients and partners, and secure profitable projects.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with divisional managers and other senior leaders to ensure a cohesive commercial strategy across the company. Lead and develop the commercial team, fostering an environment of professional growth and excellence.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Extensive experience in commercial management within the engineering, construction, or related industries, with a proven track record of achieving financial and business development goals. Specifically, at least 10 years of relevant experience in Qatar in industrial fields is required.
- Strong knowledge of the technical, operational, and commercial aspects of engineering and construction projects.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and strategic planning skills, with the ability to manage complex contracts and financial models.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with a robust problem-solving ability and a keen eye for identifying business opportunities.
