Job Purpose
- This role is primarily responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of a building or group of buildings. Ensuring that all systems are functioning properly and that safety standards are being met. Responsible for training, and supervising site deployed employees who work in these buildings.
Key Relationships
- Internal: MIPC Management and technicians
- External: Tenants, Visitors, Suppliers & Contractors operating on behalf of Mirage as required.
Authorities
- Technicians and annual maintenance contractors.
Accountabilities
- Set the standards and be responsible for the admin and communication with tenants, guests, etc.
- To report immediately any circumstances that might bring the company into disrepute or cause loss/damage to any of the company's assets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as liaison for residents and ensures smooth and efficient operation of the reception area and amenities.
- Responds to questions and complaints from the residents and internal departments (verbal and written).
- Inspect grounds, buildings and amenities and record required repairs and replacements.
- Plans and conducts a preventive maintenance program and recommends special work required or necessary equipment maintenance.
- Estimates personnel, material and equipment requirements for assigned jobs.
- Provides technical assistance to crews in resolving difficult problems encountered.
- Prepares and maintains a variety of reports and records, including timecards, worksheets, accident reports, maintenance requests.
- Orders and maintains an adequate inventory to accomplish assigned jobs.
- Coordinates activities with other relevant stakeholders and reviews work upon completion.
- Ensures appropriate safety devices and equipment are being utilized and enforces building and safety regulations.
- Operates vehicles (if required).
- Inducts and trains new employees (MEP, civil).
- Any other duties / responsibilities as assigned by the manager from time to time based on business requirements.

- Good English communication and written skills.
- Competent in using Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Able to work with a keen level of detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Clean and tidy appearance.
- Polite and courteous manner.
- Flexible and able to work under pressure.
- Able to work independently without supervision as well as in a teamoriented, collaborative environment.
- Able to maintain confidentiality as required.
Language:
- English
- Other languages (Arabic / French / Hindi advantage)
Specialized Training/ Knowledge Required
- Customer service
- CAFM system exposure
Education & Qualification
- A bachelor degree (MEP) and relevant experience in working as a Building Supervisor.
- Project management (advantage)
- First aid certificate (valid)
- Firefighting certificate (valid)
- HSEC certificate
Additions
- At least 8 years' experiences in a related field.
- Qatar driving license
