I am a chartered mechanical engineer & certified PMP with an extensive experience in rotating equipment and a member of PMT of mega oil and gas projects. 

Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer in PMT or PMC .

Twenty-Seven (27) years of experience in the oil and gas industry specializing in the selection, specifications, engineering, installation, commissioning, startup of rotating equipment, which including gas & steam turbines, centrifugal/screw/reciprocating compressors, API/ ANSI pumps, overhead cranes, air compressors, nitrogen generating, fire water, emergency diesel generators packages and water treatment packages for gas treatment plants, LNG plant, Refinery and onshore & off-shore gas gathering plants.
Supervise rotating equipment engineering design and execution activities to ensure full implementation of company design specifications, and applicable international standards and codes that include API 610,611,612, 614,616, 617,618,619, 674, 675, 673 and API 686 standards.
 Manage contractor in delivery of all aspects of rotating equipment design, technical and execution definition, including planning for FEED & detailed design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.
 Ensure machinery design activities e.g. project specifications, data sheets, detailed design, design studies, commissioning procedures, drawings, project QA/QC plan and vendors ITP of equipment are fully developed during FEED& EPC to comply with project technical and execution requirements.
 Participate in TRA, HAZOP, and 3D module workshops during FEED and EPC Phases.
 Review & approve equipment tests procedures, witness FAT/SAT tests of rotating equipment and mechanical
packages.
 Supervision of vendors & contractors activities during the commissioning and start-up of the facilities and respond
to rotating equipment and packages related technical queries, and confirmed project startup in safe, efficient, and
timely manner in order to meet the project scope and schedule.
 Experienced in performing predictive and preventive maintenance of rotating equipment, and carried out cause
root analysis to provide corrective actions, and ensured the implementation of the required work, on
commissioning & startup at project execution phase and during plant normal operation.
