I have been working as a supervisor with Dafoos Technical Services (Middle East—khobar, Saudi arabia.
Major responsibilities include:
Designing of Fire Fighting System & Fire Suppression System.
Estimation of Fire Fighting & Fire Suppression System.
Conceptual Layout of Fire Fighting Systems (including fire water main, hydrants, monitors, hose reel, deluge
water spray systems, foam systems, portable fire extinguishers, etc.)
Piping and Instrument Diagram of Fire water systems (Fire Pumps, Fire water mains, Deluge systems, Foam
System)
Hydraulic Calculation of fire water systems (Fire water network and Deluge water spray systems)
Erection of water based Fire Protection System such as hydrant system, sprinkler system and along with their
pump house piping.
Erection as per Preparation of P& ID’s.
Coordination with client office for their technical queries & status update.
Preparation of BOQ (Bill of Quantity) & Preparation of Project schedule.
Maintaining daily progress report,filled quality plan, qap report of material with vendor.
Subcontractor and vendor negotiation with proper documentation of billing. Design of Cooling Spray system for
Transformers and cable trench.(HVWS/MVWS) Designing of novec 1230 and inergen system.
Estimation of novec 1230 and inergen system.
Provide technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for Client engagement from
definition phase
(pre sales consultancy) through implementation and post implementation support, advice maintenance.
Prepare BOQs, RFQs, and RFPs, understand and follow tender specs, contractual agreements, specifications,
etc.
Carry out site surveys, field studies, designs, proposals and optimization.
Coordinate with clients to propose required solution and coordinate with suppliers to provide seamless
integration. Preparation of as built documents after the commissioning of firefighting systems. Attend the
technical meeting with contractor or consultant.
