My degree in Environmental Science has allowed me to challenge and prove my experiences to develop organizational skills, analytical, and logical approach to all tasks with a steady enthusiasm and motivation. This has enabled me to develop work skills on environment protection, risk Management, waste Management, Environmental laboratory management, marine environmental characteristics, environmental measurements, noise pollution, air quality, visual pollution and spills, conducting professional site inspections and detailed project field assessments, performing research, and providing advice on current environmental laws and regulations and advanced methods of cost reduction.

Environmental Project Engineer /Acting Manager

• Carry out impact assessments to identify project specific environmental regulatory requirements, and reduce an organization’s environmental risks and financial costs.
• Coordinate and identify all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health and conservation.
• Ensuring the required environmental permit applications, renewals, CEMP & EIA approval and implemented on a daily basis on the construction activities on site.
• Develop and implement environmental management systems to continually improve the impact on the environment.
• Implement environmental strategies and action plans in accordance with environmental guidelines, to ensure corporate sustainable development.
• Train stuff, engineers & workers and implement best practice in areas of corporate, ethical and social responsibility at all levels on environmental issues.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and keep up to date with local MoECC and international regulation and legislation.
• Lead the implementation of environmental policies and practices.
• Assuming lead responsibility, write environmental reports and manage relation with consultations and negotiate environmental service agreements.
• Identify the sustainability requirements of the Project, based on the GSAS Design Hospitality & assure the Project achieves the minimum rating with a qualified GSAS CGP Consultant.

• Identify the environmental aspects and evaluate the environmental impact of the project, hazard or commercial operation.
• Improving and managing pollution controls to Provide a healthy environment on site by disposing of waste, providing safe drinking water, controlling environmental hazards, improving recycling and decreasing soil, water and air pollution.
• Gather data from a range of sources through construction site activities to ensure that identified environmental monitoring, third party reports, and control measures are effective and in compliance with the EMS.
• Establishing checklist and conducting regular daily & weekly environmental Inspections to ensure that all environmental mitigation measures are implemented and maintained.
• Ensure that observations are reported to site supervisors or Consultant for corrective measures and follow-up closure.
• Preparing information for environmental training and toolbox talks.
• Disseminating waste reduction and waste management procedures to all relevant personnel on site and monitor compliance.
• write up and present findings, costings, health and safety plans and recommendations on the containment, clean-up process, remediation, recycling and waste disposal, in order to fix environmental issues.

• Regular maintenance routines in the plant for inspecting any site observations that affect the environment;
• Implementing Environmental Awareness Program;
• Monitoring air quality and emissions of different locations and machines to match it with the MOECC standards.
