My experience includes aspects such as operating industrial equipment as illustrated below:  
Tasks in Forklift Operation and Warehousing: 
-Operating Forklifts and Reach Trucks in warehouse/store for retrieving and filing of pallets of products and materials on racks. 
-compliance with SKU allocation rules e.g FIFO, FEFO, FMFO, Location Flush and their combination.
-Compliance with warehouse material handling safety and OSHA regulations
-RF scanning of materials when transferring them to warehouse.   
-Loading/offloading of products/materials on refers/trucks.  

-Checking (inspecting) the equipment for any mechanical issues (filling the checklist), as described below: 
This implies full inspection of the Forklift Trucks ( Electric Powered Forklifts, Diesel Powered Forklifts, Gas Powered Forklifts):   
•Pre-start checks   
•Operational checks   
•Post-operational checks  

Forklift battery proper care as illustrated below: 
a) Charging batteries of the forklifts, reach trucks and electric pallet jacks for use in the next shift. (Both on-board charging and battery change methods) 
b)Regular battery checks, battery terminals, battery water/electrolyte level checks,  
c)Battery water addition/filling.  

-Suggesting required materials for production and their quantities.  

Solving problems in different situations such as: 
-EWM system failure 
-Inventory variances 
-Loading, docking and dispatch issues 
-Misplaced pallets 
-Product coding issues 
-Rejected product pallets 
-Pallets on hold 
-Unlabled pallets 
-Lack of space 
-Non-moving materials in warehouse or store 
-Unpalletized products 
-Expired products 
-Returns 
-Customer complaints 
-Expired products 
-Following up on delayed materials which have not yet been received and arrange for prompt receival before production starts.

-Updating files and records on materials transferred.
