● Knowledge-Detail study of IFC (Issued for construction) drawing and shop drawing, review of shop drawing, codes and specification and highway design manual. 

● Independent judgment and responsibility-Check complete work for conformance to the specification required as per the project drawing and perform regular checks of the Contractor works done at site as per the inspection test plan and method statement. Review and comment appropriately to IR’s as received from the contractor. Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise

● Commercial Ability- Measure contractor’s work on site and assist the Quantity Surveyor at the time of billing and interim payment certificate.

● Quality and Sustain Development-Ensure that the works are being constructed to the latest construction and shop drawings. Maintain daily records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required. Prepare Surveillance Report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site that are believed to have failed or if the contractor is not complying with verbal instruction and subsequently complete a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) if required in view of the development of events

● Health, Safety and welfare-Ensure that works are always in compliance with the HSE plan. Proficient with standard safety policies and procedures

●Development of subordinates-Developed several subordinates in the field of project work and effective communication to make sure that coordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines. This helped them to take up individual responsibilities

● Coordination. Coordination, Goal setting and completion of work has been assigned to contractor site engineers, project engineers and site team members.
