My Name is Dr. Rehan Tariq. I have 9 years of teaching experience as a lecturer in Computer Science. I am currently serving as Lecturer Computer Science from 2013 to date in COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan.

I am Dr. Rehan Tariq, an experienced professional in the field of Computer Science with a PhD and over 13 years of teaching, research, and industry experience. From 2022 to 2024 I served as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at Kohsar University Murree since 2022. Prior to that, I worked as a Lecturer at COMSATS University Islamabad from 2013 to 2022.

In terms of educational achievements, I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, Pakistan, with a CGPA of 3.55/4.0. My doctoral thesis focused on "An Intelligent Cluster Optimization Technique for FANET assisted VANET". I also hold an MS in Computer Science from COMSATS University Islamabad with a CGPA of 3.91/4.0. My master's thesis was titled "Multiple QoS-based Scheduling in Heterogeneous and Parallel Computing Environment". Additionally, I obtained a BS (Hons) in Computer Science with a CGPA of 3.75/4.0 in 2009.

Throughout my career, I have had notable achievements. I started as a system support engineer in Information Technology at Hashoo Group International, where I received two appreciation letters from the management in 2011. I then worked as an ICT teacher at Swedish Engineering College from 2012 to 2013, taking on the additional responsibilities of Program Coordinator in the Electrical Engineering Department and In-charge IT. Since 2013, I have been associated with COMSATS University Islamabad as a Lecturer in the Computer Science Department.

In terms of research, I have published research articles in Q1 and Q3 journals in the field of computer networks and applications. My research profile can be accessed via this link: [research profile link]. I have also been involved in ISO/QEC activities since 2014 and have been certified with ISO 9001-2008 and ISO 9001-2015. Additionally, I have served as a departmental operating officer, program coordinator for the BS Software Engineering program, and ISO/QEC auditor/convener to maintain ISO standards within the organization.

Furthermore, I have a strong teaching background, having taught various subjects in BS Computer Science, BS Software Engineering, MS Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and BS Business Administration departments. I have supervised thesis and degree projects for both graduate and undergraduate students.

I have completed an MSCS degree from COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Campus Pakistan, scored 3.91 CGPA out of 4.0. Thesis title “Multiple QoS based scheduling in Heterogeneous and parallel computing environment”.

I am a Silver Medallist in the degree of BSCS(HONS) from the University of Wah, Wah Cantt, Pakistan. I scored 3.75 CGPA out of 4.0.
