Haithem Hamdouni

I am Haithem Hamdouni, a Tunisian PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Medical Sales Representatives. I live in Qatar and I have a Valid QID and Driving License. 

During my 4 years in the medical sales industry, I have developed a strong understanding of the healthcare market and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. I've worked for MCPHARMA, a Tunisian medical information and promotion agency, for 2 years and a half, where I promoted products for the French multinational pharmaceutical company SANOFI,  the French pharmaceutical company GRIMBERG, the French pharmaceutical manufacturer ADARE BIOME, the Canadian multinational pharmaceutical company APTALIS Pharma and the Italian pharmaceutical company Fidia, to cardiologists, endocrinologists, dermatologists, urologists, rheumatologists, orthopedists, infectious diseases doctors and general practitioners.

 Then I've worked for the Tunisian laboratories PHARMAGHREB for one year, where I promoted a large variety of medicaments to gynecologists, dermatologists and general practitioners. 

My ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, combined with my in-depth knowledge of medical products and their benefits, has consistently resulted in increased market share and revenue growth for my previous employers. 

In addition to my sales experience, I possess excellent communication and presentation skills, which allow me to effectively communicate complex medical information to a variety of audiences. I am also highly organized and detail-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

During my doctoral studies, I focused on the study of genetic, biological, clinical, and environmental Alzheimer's Disease risk factors, where I developed a deep understanding of the diagnostic performances of Alzheimer's disease biomarkers in cerebrospinal fluid and plasma using ELISA and molecular biology techniques such asDNAandRNAextraction, PCR-RFLP, RTqPC  and DNA sequencing.

During my doctoral internship at the Bio-peroxIL laboratory - Dijon, France, I dedicated myself to studying the relationships between lipoinduced peroxisomal dysfunctions, plasmalogens, CD36 receptor, and neurodegeneration on Microglial BV-2 Cells. This theme led me to practice cell culture and implement several techniques of cell and molecular biology such as MTT assay, FDA assay, flow cytometry, RNA extraction, RT-qPCR (Taqman and SyberGreen techniques). 

My research experience involved study design, subject recruitment, data collecting, sample processing,  conducting experiments,  biostatistical and bioinformatical analysis, tutoring students and scientific writing.

These experiences have honed my analytical and problem-solving skills, preparing me well  to explore new avenues in molecular and cell biology.
