• Performs routine X-ray procedure such as chest examination, orthopedics, emergency trauma, pediatric examination, skull series, pelvimetry, abdominal examination and mammography.
• Checks all X-ray machine before doing X-ray procedures and prepares supplies and medicines for special procedures.
• Give instructions to the patient about the special procedures and preparation to be made.
• Assists Radiologist in performing Retrograde, Hystogram, T-tube Cholangiogram, Guided Ultrasound and others;
• Perfoms portable X-ray procedure to special areas like Operating Room, Intesive Care Unit and General Wards.
• Assists Radiologist in performing ultrasound procedures in special areas like OR, ICU, and even General Wards (heaptobiliary tree, kidneys and urinary baldder, pacreas, spleen, prostate, scrotum, pelvis, transvaginal, mass thyroid, RLQ, breast, lung and whole abdomen)
• Provide appropriate care for the patient during the radiographic examination. Applies radiation protection measures to the patient. Instructs them to wear protective gown and gonadal shields while doing X-ray procedures.
• Checks patient result before filling and releasing, forward chart copy result in all nurse station for in patients and prepares all request result of cardholder patient and forward to the claims office
