Lyndsay Wootton

A CELTA qualified teacher with a master’s degree in English Language Studies and 10+ years of overseas experience teaching students of all ages in international and language schools. Skilled in facilitating students through effective lesson plans, targeting individual learning gaps in a student-centred classroom.

I have 10+ years of experience working in international schools and language centers in 4 different countries. 

I have experience in a range of settings and with a very diverse age group. The needs of my students have differed greatly throughout my EAL career. 

I studied the English language at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I wrote an independent dissertation on the effects of introversion/extroversion on language learning. Research was carried out in Hong Kong, consulting adult learners of English as participants for the study. The project aimed to empower students and educators by providing further insight regarding the strengths and weaknesses of each respective temperament within the classroom.

I also completed a CELTA during my second year of undergraduate studies at Coventry University, England.
