Essential duties and responsibilities as Purchasing Coordinator: 

  • Reconcile customer material billing
  • Maintain daily inventory reconciliations
  • Reconcile invoice to purchase order price variances
  • Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders
  • Track and report material backorders from vendors
  • Analyze data and forecast requirements with vendors
  • Set up, plan, and coordinate with vendors
  • Maintain and create detailed reports
  • Track and trace Freight and Deliveries. 
  • Perform internal inventory audits
  • Complete ad hoc reporting and data entry as needed
  • Assist Purchasing Manager in recruiting new vendors and trade partners
  • Assist accounting with any outstanding payment issues
  • Analyze purchase orders on job start report and revise if necessary
  • Maintain rebate-tracking systems
  • Review and price lot-specific changes and coordinate with construction/trades/sales
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of specification documents
  • Perform related administration and clerical duties as assigned

 

Essential duties and responsibilities as Warehouse Manager: 

 

  • To represent the company in a professional, enthusiastic, and positive manner
  • Ensure an efficient warehouse operation that can fulfill operationally
  • Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
  • Plan future capacity requirements
  • Keep up to date and respond accordingly to all inquiries
  • Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring the physical counts are conducted and reconciled with SAP utilizing the help of the warehouse team
  • Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to goods in and goods out including labeling of all stock items
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements
  • Create policies and procedures for warehouse activities and ensure all systems meet the standards for accreditation in line with the
  • Ensure any hazardous materials, are stored by requirements
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain high standards of security in the warehouse by setting security procedures 
  • Ensure that vehicles, machinery, and equipment are well maintained and fit for purpose
  • Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of product is carried out by manual handling procedures
