permanent schemes and advise team to rectify the issue.
 Design and review of shop drawings related to traffic diversion plan.
 Prepare road safety audit including collision investigation and prevention;
 Good knowledge of the requirement in relation to the use of temporary traffic
control devices.
 Responsible for mentoring and training traffic safety team about the standard of
Work Zone Traffic Management Guide.
 Ensure to prepare adequate Traffic Management Plan as per Work Zone Traffic
Management Guide and Qatar Traffic Control Manual.
 Ensure that the developed Traffic diversion Plan will allow the safe execution of
construction works without unwanted delays.
 Night time supervisions of Traffic Management Plans implementation, controlling
Supervisors and associated Traffic team.
 Ensure that the Traffic Diversion Plan will control the expected risk to company
employees & road users to a minimum acceptable level.
 Ensure that all necessary permits had been secured prior to execution of works.
 Ensure that the traffic police and clients are informed on the exact date & time of
any planned work.
 Ensure that the public had been informed of any road work ahead of time via
media or by installing VMS & informatory sign boards ahead of time.
 Monitor the preparation of Traffic diversion plan review prior to submittal to
client for approval.
 Understand the provision of pedestrian safety, motorist’s safety and access to
properties.
 Attending emergency response and first response as per the site requirement.
 Ensuring compliance with company Health, Safety and Environment procedure.
 Designing of Traffic Diversion Plan (TDP), attend meeting with the consultant and
client to review them and submit for final approval.
 Liaising with supervision consultant, clients, emergency services and other road
safety stakeholders.
 Supervise traffic management staff.
 Keeping traffic flow as much as possible without compromising safety;
 Reviewing temporary traffic management plan and advice if the change is
required.
 Participate in stage 4 preopening road safety audit for temporary/ beneficial use/
permanent works.
 Attend weekly meeting with site team, with client and subcontractors to monitor
over all traffic diversion status.
