Project Description:

This was a rural electrification project implemented by the Rural Electrification Authority (REA) and funded by the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) for the electrification of Chief Sandwe's Palace, Primary School, Old and new Rural Health Centre, and Surrounding areas in Petauke District, Eastern Province of Zambia.

Scope of Work:

• Construction of 20km of 33kV overhead line using 100sqmm ACSR.
• Construction of 2.5km of 400V distribution overhead lines using 50sqmm ACSR, and
• Installation of 50 & 100kVA of 11/0.4kV distribution pole mounted transformers. 

Deliverables

• Diligently provided on-site administrative support to the project team and executed day-to-day site activities and work implementation which ensured timely completion of the project.
• Conducted thorough site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Promoted a collaborative SHEQ and results-oriented approach in the project team to successfully deliver the project with zero accident records.
