My experiences as a teacher, tutor, and student teacher have afforded me the opportunity to interact with diverse student populations and engage them in learning. 

I have been a classroom teacher for the past 10 years in various capacities and grade levels. I enjoy the challenge of teaching students academically but also helping them to thrive socially. As a team player, I have joined and participated in committees and school improvement projects to help build a better environment for students and staff alike.

I have excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information to students, parents and school officials in a clear and easy to understand fashion verbally and in writing. I have the patience and dedication needed to work with teenagers and to maintain an orderly and safe learning environment.
