I am a Registered Agricultural Engineer in the Philippines. I’ve been working as an Autocad Operator/Draftsman for almost 15 years abroad. Through these experiences, I gained more knowledge, trainings and skills which I believe I can contribute much to your office. My qualifications are reinforced by my foundation in education in the degree of Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering.

AUTOCAD OPERATOR/DRAFTSMAN – June 1, 2010 to Present

Mafco Tiles & Ceramics – Doha, Qatar

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organizes and keeps all important files (AutoCad and other files) provided by the clients;
• Reviews engineering and architectural plans and determines all ceramics and marble tiling works (floor and wall), marble cladding works, and furniture fit-outs stated in the plan;
• Coordinates with Manager and other involve in the project with regards to the plan details and schedule;
• Verifies plan dimensions by conducting on-site measurements;
• Makes layout plans for the fitting-out of furnitures, sanitary and bathroom accessories;
• Makes plans & designs for marble/ceramics tiling, and other marble cladding in 2D & 3D presentations for the initial and final approval of the clients;
• Determines/Calculates the required quantity of materials to be used;
• Prepares the cutting lists to be submitted to the marble cutting department;
• Prepares the Bill of Quantity (BOQ) of items and materials to be submitted to the Sales Department  for the issuance of quotations to clients; and
• Plots and manages production of multiple shop drawings in scale.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews engineering and architectural plans and identifies all marble works stated in the plan;
• Conducts on-site measurements for dimension verifications;
• Makes plans and designs with complete details for the following marble works:
  • Floor tiling layout which includes borders and waterjet designs;
  • Wall tiling/cladding which includes book-matching and using different variety of marbles;
  • Vanity for handwash and bathrooms;
  • Staircase and other marble cladding works.
• Determines/Calculates  the required quantity of each marble to be used;
• Prepares the plan and cutting list, and coordinates with other company for cutting works by providing them the complete details of the plan;
• Prepares, initiates and implements the plans, and made instructions to workers prior to the fixing and installation of marble;
• Manages inventory and supply of marble materials from time to time;
• Coordinates with project manager and other involved in the project regarding the workplan and other matters related to the project;
