• Prepare Electrical Concept Design/Detailed Design Layouts for Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm System and Low Current Layouts (CCTV, Tel & Data, MATV and Public Address) with Load Schedule, single line Diagram & Power Schematic for New and existing Residential / Commercial projects to include schools, Hospitals, Warehouses, and Government Offices.
• Prepare Electrical Detail Design Drawings for Local Authority Submission (KARHAMAA, MOI-QCDD, MOI-QSSD & OOREDOO) and responsible to follow up, and obtaining approvals.

• Ensure that the Electrical Design team is aware of the latest updates of local Authority Regulations/Codes.
• Co-ordinate with respective Design Engineer’s to modify the existing Design drawings by incorporating the changes mentioned on the client’s / Authorities comment drawings.
  • Work closely with the project managers, and Design engineers to make sure that the design is precise. At the same time ensure that the objective is being met.
• Keep and maintain the coordination with other Design Departments; (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Contract and Quantity Surveying, etc…)
• Cross checking and scrutiny of drawings for accuracy including dimensions, spelling, drafting standards and completeness to achieve and meet project design criteria.

• Adjust current drawings and recommend changes based on their understanding and knowledge of the project.
• Exercise independent judgment to develop designs with minimal direction from Design Supervisor, Design Lead or Engineering and have the skill as well as ability to do multitasking on multiple projects.

• Mandatory participated in field walk downs to obtain measurements, verify As-Built documentation and develop field sketches in support of plant modifications and design installations.

• Meet all project specifications and contract documents which remains the principle goal of all my tasks.

• Complete the assigned work and finish my task within the specified timeline without compromise in quality.

• Team player capable of working individually as required to ensure project completion.
