Materials Coordinator
• Perform daily warehouse operations activities in a timely and orderly manner. (Inbound – Receiving and put away, Outbound – Picking and packing, Cycle count – monthly cycle count.
• Currently manage receiving operations and proper storage of incoming materials. Ensures proper labelling, packaging and receipt of materials by using SAP System.
• Apply material preservation guidelines and procedures.
• Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to
department according to work order priorities and material availability.
• Work with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team to effectively manage and coordinate the flow of all materials to the work face
• Processing/preparing items for dispatch to vendors for repair, refurbishment, recertification, calibration, and fabrication of all items
• Identify slow / non-moving inventory items and liaise with end- users to amend min/max levels or initiate the asset disposal process for sale of the material.
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.
