I am Dr.Sunitha Jagannathachary, as an ambitious professional with communication proficiency with master degree in dental surgery (MDS – Periodontics) and more than 13 years of experience in both academic and clinic work. My previous role as assistant professor in College of dental sciences, India, has given me good experience of teaching and guiding the students. As an academician, my role was to develop and deliver courses to students in specified discipline areas of study. I have also conducted research, organize and manage instructional resources, courses outlines, and community networks. I have supported and participate in accreditation initiatives. I have also published articles related to my field. Periodontics is subject which usually highlights the dental hygiene practices which makes ideal for the above mentioned post.

Following that my work with Ministry of health, Bhutan for 4 years, have given me wider dimension. Along with clinical work and public health programs, I was also tutoring and doing academic counselling to dental hygiene and dental technician students.

Currently in Qatar, though I am working as a clinician, I have a previous experience of working with teachers on developing curriculum, lesson plans, and assessments. I have also developed training materials for teachers and administrators. I am very comfortable working with teachers and administrators to develop effective strategies for
improving student achievement.

I am also a strong advocate for collaboration and teamwork. I believe that success is most often achieved when everyone works together towards a common goal. I started my professional career as a n Assistant Professor in College of Dental Sciences, RGUHS, Davangere, India from 2009-2010. Following that I got an opportunity to serve under Ministry of Health, Bhutan as a Specialist and teaching faculty for dental hygienist students from 2010 -2014. Next I was working as a consultant periodontist in Kulkarni Clinic , India from 2014 -2015.

In 2015, I moved to State of Qatar where I was working as Periodontist in Al salaam medical polyclinic (May, 2015 -Dec 2015) then moved to Naseem dental Center (2016 to 2020) and currently working in Elite Medical Center since 2020.
