Job role and Duties-

Job Role and Duties-

• Carryout setting-out work and levelling using theodolite and dump level for J bolt placement. 
• Supervising of all the reinforced concrete works including rebar work and formwork.
• Prepare bar scheduling
• Prepare project plans,
• Fulfill and manage the, labor and equipment requirement of the project.
• Supervising of earth filling and compaction.
• Supervising of fabrication of columns, tie beams and trusses.
• Check the quality of welding. 
• Prepare methods statement for earthwork and building erection work.
• Prepare safety plans to reduce risk of hazards during erection of the building.
• Epoxy painting for steel structures. 
• Carryout sand corn test for compaction test.

Job role and duties    :   

• Suggest soldier type shoring method to retain soil and arrange safe working environment to workers.
• Monitor dewatering and excavation work.
• Carryout all the setting-out and leveling work using theodolite and dumpy level.

Job role and duties     - 

      Ten storied apartment complex Colombo Sri Lanka at the stage of pilling (Hua You Pilling).

• Carryout setting out work and select right pile locations to carry out rest 

of the works smoothly. 

• Inspect all the machine tools whether they are match with the diameter of the pile. E.g.: boring bucket, casing size.
• Check the casing location after the placement using tape with reference to three offsets around it. 
• Check all the soil samples bored and compare with the soil report. 
• Measure length to the rock with reference to the benchmark and record. 
• Take the samples of rock and check whether it is hard rock or soft rock in order to commence socketing. 
• Concrete order to the site at right time and check the sump. 
• Check the quality of reinforcement work. 
• Inspect whether bentonite pump into the pit right time and washing before concreting work. 
• Record daily progress of site.
• Prepare the bills after every pile and submit to the client.

Job role and duties -

• Setting out work using theodolite and levelling using dumpy level. 
• Preparation of Bar-schedules and supervising of reinforcement work. 
• Prepare methods statements for Excavation for foundations- deep excavation with shoring. 
• Supervising and check the quality of the formwork and false work and guide people with right methodologies. 
• Supervising of concrete work and guide people to ensure quality. 
• Carried out Setting out work for bolt fixing. 
• Coordinate with stakeholders and carried project smoothly. 
• Preparation of daily progress report and check whether project is at the right track in terms of quality, time and budget.
• Supervising of Finishing work -Brickwork, Plastering, and Painting, Backfilling by layers and carryout compaction test.

Project                       - Riverina 5 Star Hotel Development Project Beruwala Sri-Lanka 

Period                        - December 2014 to April 2015

Job Role and Duties -

• Supervise all the rebar work e.g.: - bar diameter, quantity, spacing, strength Class, lap lengths, anchor lengths, lap positions, cover sizes.

•  Supervise concrete work e.g.: grade of the concrete, mix design, vibration during concrete, monitor concreting arrival and pouring duration, sump test, cube test, curing seven days, concreting method statement, appoint skill workers for good workmanship. 

• Supervise formwork and falsework: - check whether jack supported floor is well compacted, check the strength of the jack, jack spacing, quality of the formwork material such as thickness and brand e.g.: - coated plywood(20mm), formwork dimension according to the drawings, check verticality of the columns and walls before and after concreting, levels of the slab before and while concreting
•  Survey work mainly leveling and setting out.
• Preparing Bar schedules wastage less than 5%.
• Mark the daily progress of the project and identify which activities can affect critical path. 
• Identify the skilled and unskilled workers appoint them for correct activities.
