Upasena Dilipa Jayashan Thalakotunna

I am a detail-oriented, software engineer and am seeking a new opportunity to use my skills in your organization. I am a self-driven individual who is passionate about problem solving and the development of innovative solutions. I enjoy working with technology and with people of all educational backgrounds to solve complex problems.

I have more than five years of experience in full-stack web application development using languages and frameworks including JAVA and PHP. I’m proficient with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL, MySQL. I have strong understanding of fundamental Object-Oriented Architecture, MVC Architecture as well as experience building system with modern technology and third-party API integration. I have hands on experience in end user training. I have served as software engineer and also worked extensively with the Sri Lankan government IT sector.  As a team member, I bring strong git workflow practice and experience using agile methodologies to build software in a collaboration environment. 

I graduated with a three-year degree in software technology from the University of Vocational Technology in 2013-2016. Also, I am pursuing Diploma in ICT (NVQ Level 5), Diploma in Hardware Engineering and Networking, Computer Application Assistant (NVQ Level 3) and Certificate of Industrial Training in Windows Network Administration.
