As a Director ofRecreation, you will be responsible for ensuring guest experienceand whilst managing overall spa & recreation operation andbudget.

• Selects vendors for retail operations andmanaging contract agreements.
• Oversees retail productresearch, product selection and purchasing, product display.
• Manages supply inventories and purchasing control,including uniforms.
• Monitors the recreation actual andprojected sales to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded.
• Creates and coordinates special services for groupsincluding group gifting programs, group amenities, group turndowngifts, letters and invitations, creating special spa services forspecific groups and spa contract addendum negotiation.
• Develops and Manages recreation promotions including giftingprograms, gift with purchase, co-op marketing efforts and holidayevents.
• Identifies and recommending new products andproduct enhancements to remain competitive in the market.
• Monitors and manages the payroll function.
• Manages areas of operation to budget by reviewing operatingstatements, budget worksheets and payroll progress reports.
• Manages recreation controllable expenses such guestamenities, plants, decorations and paper supplies to achieve orexceed budgeted goals.
• Displays leadership in guesthospitality, exemplifying excellent customer service, and creatinga positive atmosphere for guest relations.
• Empowersemployees to provide excellent customer service.
• Strivesto improve service performance.
• Reviews comment cards,guest satisfaction results and other data to identify areas ofimprovement.
• Reviews findings with employees to developappropriate corrective action, sharing plans with propertyleadership and ensuring corrective action is taken to continuouslyimprove results.
• Interviews and hires management andhourly employees with the appropriate skills to meet the businessneeds of the operation.

• degree in Business administration or related major orrelated 4 years' experience.
