• With experience in oil and gas industry inmulti-discipline engineering, procurement and constructionenvironment. Preferably having formal training in supply chain,logistics and membership with recognized chartered or otherprofessional institution.
• 12years' experience in similar position in Oil &Gas sector.
• Experience in GCC isdesirable.
• Working (hands-on) experience increating excel or MS Access database, retrieving data andpresenting dashboard reports on procurement progress ofContractor's and Subcontractor'smaterials.
• The coordinator should be able toanalyze data, market trends, and supplier performance to makeinformed decisions, should be familiar with sourcing strategies,supplier evaluation, negotiation techniques, and contractmanagement.
• Specific knowledge of the LPGindustry is desirable. This includes understanding the bottlingprocess, safety regulations, equipment, and materials used in LPGbottling plants.
• OverseeContractor's Procurement team - procurement, expediting,inspection and logistics during the execution of the project toprovide assurance of quality and timelydelivery;
• Oversee all Project Procurementactivities - monitor and report progress, prepare ProcurementStatus Report to Project Management Team;
• Supports company's project team in all aspects ofprocurement within EPIC contracts starting from the Technical BidEvaluation of vendors by the EPIC contractor to material deliveryat site.
• Expediting Contractor for Long Leadand Critical Items (LLI);
• Work withCompany's Engineering and QAQC department on vendorevaluation and selection criteria and participate inVendor's audits if necessary.
• Evaluate vendor performance during execution of the project and setup resolution for procurement related issues in a timelymanner;
• Ensure that Contractor support thedevelopment and implementation of project HSE and QA/QC processes /procedures in close coordination with Project Management Team andQHSE Department to achieve safe and successful execution of theProject and with materials and services that meet Projectrequirements.
