We are currently recruiting for Manager Operations for one of the most dynamic and exciting leisure venues in Doha. West Bay beach, under the management of Discover Qatar, comprises 3 absolute beachfront fully licensed venues;

  • Doha Sands, an exclusive and private beach club for in house guests staying at participating West Bay hotels
  • The Bistro; a fully licensed restaurant, open from 7am until midnight with a capacity of 200, serving light casual meals and also catering for special events, movie and sports event screenings and private groups.
  • B12 Beach Club, Qatar's largest private beach club featuring the largest inflatable in the country, a range of international food and beverage outlets, general admission and VIP sections, a resident DJ and popular weekend brunches.
Job Purpose

Establishing, formulating, and executing F&B strategies to achieve operational growth and maximize profitability.

Lead a team of Managers to build world-class Operations ensuring that the outlet operate at the highest standard according to the established procedures and processes.

  • Translate the business strategy into day to day execution providing direction and focus to deliver results against a defined business plan.
  • Evaluate and improve established and new business services by testing quality standards before implementation. Ensure all prescribed business processes and procedures are fully briefed and followed by monitoring procedures carried out in line of responsibility are robust.
  • Accountable for and to lead the F&B Service team to guarantee that the outlet, staff and processes comply with the brand's identity while attaining financial results and creating positive guest experiences.
  • Provide coordination, direction and contractual oversight, ensuring all operational working methods are reviewed and best practice are achieved to grow business models.
  • To further develop operational outlet and implement new concepts throughout the business by benchmarking against key competitors in the region in order to ensure operational requirements are met.
  • Directly responsible for including but not limited to: budgeting, staffing, training teams, culture, and communication, including a post analysis on all openings to improve costs, efficiencies, design and process.
  • Lead the implementation, development and design of the customer service standards and strategy, build and manage a solid operations team to drive sales and promote a truly customer focused working environment at WBB.
  • Be responsible for food operation as required and work alongside the Executive Chef/Head Chef in the design and delivery of the catering provision.
  • Liaise closely other teams on various activities including but not limited to: promotional activities, menu developing, pricing, strategy, planning, budgeting, policies and procedures, etc. ensuring exceptional food quality and service in each outlets.
  • Conduct regular management meetings to ensure effective communication of KPI's, people management and operational key priorities.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree
  • 8 years on the job experience
  • Good Communication skills
  • Business Acumen
