About the job Maintenance AutomationTechnician (Cable Manufacturing)
3-5 years of ElectricalAutomation Field Experience, preferably from cable manufacturingIndustry.
Diploma ITI Electrical/ Electronics Trade
Must have ability to work effectively with CMMS
Basic Knowledge of Siemens PLC S7 Family
Basic Knowledge of the field devices like water level controller,proportional valve
Good troubleshooting and hands onexperience for cable manufacturing machineries
Goodknowledge of convertors and frequency drivers
Ability tofind out the root cause of the problem and ability to resolve it
Good knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic system
Performs the corrective, preventive and ameliorativemaintenance of the equipment in compliance with the objectivesdeveloped and set in quantity, quality and delays.
Proficiency in programming and Trouble shooting in Siemens PLCsystem S7, TIA software
Strong knowledge of specialSiemens PLC programming techniques and best practices
Attend the breakdown in the machine
Inform in advance tothe Supervisor about any spares which is required to solve themachine problem
Attending breakdowns not limited toAutomation
Inspect the utilities on a regular basis andmaintain the logbook for the same
Attend breakdown ofcommunication protocol on various machines.
Maintain theshift report on a daily basis
Raise a memo for any spareparts to be issued from the store for the machine
Make alogical approach Mechanically and Electrically to solve the problemin the machine and inform Supervisor accordingly if it is beyondtheir level.
Write clear instruction for the next shiftfor any pending job in a logbook
