Job Purpose:

  • (Arabic Speakers)
The primary responsibility of the Senior Workplace Services Engineer is to

  • Provide onsite IT support for clients and users.
  • Be responsible for resolving or escalating customer reported Incidents and Service Requests assigned to the Workplace Services team.
  • Take full ownership of all open Incidents and Service Requests and update them on a daily basis as minimum.
  • Ensure that all Workplace Services processes are followed
  • Inform management of any P1 tickets or problematic tickets and escalate accordingly
  • Ensure that all issues related to the Workplace Services Team are escalated immediately to management

Skills and Experience:


  • Current Microsoft with practical handson experience

Hands on experience of different network systems such as TCP IP /DNS /DHCP, and VPN service:

  • Experience with Active Sync and mobile device support
  • Indepth knowledge and experience about the different end user environments such as but no limited to
  • Microsoft Office Suite, print management and administration, file sharing and collaboration and basic hardware knowledge.
  • Trouble shooting and problem analysis skills.

Hands on experience with Microsoft Windows client ( 7, 10, 11) & ( Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019:

  • Experience required with creating and deploying OS images for end user devices
  • Experience or knowledge about SCCM, Bitlocker is highly recommended.
  • Appropriate knowledge about IT security fundamentals.
  • Hands on experience with end point security systems.
  • Experience with HP Service Manager is a plus.
  • Administration experience with Microsoft Active Directory ( OU, Group policy and local policy and Domain accounts)

Hands on trouble shooting skills for Network & DNS skills steps ( ping ,tracert. DNS lookup ,host file ,..

etc):

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Having Arabic written and verbal communication skills is a plus.

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
QAR7,000.00 per month
