    • Lead a team of procurementspecialists (matrix) handling all personnel development, KPImanagement, succession planning, etc. Provide recommendations onrecruitment, selection, and employee assessment to ensurecompliance with HR policies. Foster long-term corporate successthrough motivated staff, coach subordinates, identify training andcareer development needs, recommend training courses, and overseepersonnel records and resources to meet operationalrequirements.
    • Manage and optimize the assignedcategory(s) according to the Procurementstrategy.
    • Develop and implement multi-yearcategory strategies which drive additional value for theorganization. Align the program with strategic business objectives,communicate the strategy to stakeholders, collect feedback, andderive initiatives in line with strategicrequirements
    • Responsible for strategicprocurement processes within the category (incl. supplier portfoliomanagement, market analytics, RfX & sourcing of typicallylarger value orders, supplier selection, purchase order creation& placement, PO follow-up and issuemanagement).
    • Monitor the global supplier marketfor the assigned category. Plan for material and serviceavailability by analyzing trends, delivery systems, and markets.Conduct market assessments, cost models, benchmarking, and totalcost of ownership analyses. Evaluate demand patterns/cycles,optimize purchasing power, gather and manage datasets, and provideglobal market intelligence. Utilize analytics to monitorprocurement volumes, usage patterns, inventory levels, costs, andidentify pooling opportunities, cost-saving possibilities, andareas for improvement.
    • Manage key supplierrelationships and execute supplier performancereivews.
    • Manage escalations within assignedcategories to ensure all matters are resolved, or escalated ot thenext level.
    • Define optimization initiatives(i.e., standardization, bundling, supplier concentration);initiate, support and drive make-or-buydecisions.
    • Identify, evaluate and managecategory risks (e.g., delivery dates, capacities, exchange rates /prices for materials) and develop risk managementinitiatives.
    • Collaborate with stakeholdersabout procurement activities, collect feedback, and deriveinitiatives in line with strategicrequirements.
    • Collaborate with internalstakeholders to identify and consolidate procurement requirements,provide advisory services on suitable alternatives, coordinate withdepartments to identify professional services needs, record andconsolidate requirements, and facilitate the translation ofinternal customer requirements into purchase orders for timelyprocurement of materials, products, andservices.
    • Participate in the evaluation ofproposals, accurately transferring information and documents to thecommercial evaluation sheet/Fusion. Review and interpret tenderdocuments and contracts to ensure compliance with corporatepolicies and procedures.
    • Lead negotiations andcontract management activities with suppliers to securecost-effective sources of products and services, negotiatefavorable terms and conditions, benchmark costs and quality,monitor contract expirations, and initiate renewals. Develop andexecute negotiation strategies, collaborate with internalstakeholders, legal department, and tender committee, and ensureeffective contract management across procurementcategories.
