    About thisrole:

    • Ensure and promote theapplication of COMPANY HSE and Safety Engineering rules andspecifications;
    • Ensure that contractors complyat all times with safety rules, taking actions as required in caseof disregards;
    • Promote safety culture withinCOMPANY personnel and contractors as well as reporting ofanomalies;
    • Ensure and monitor the safety ofpersonnel and installations as well as protection of theenvironment in his activities;
    • Participate tothe design of new mechanical equipment or define modifications toequipment (equipment data sheet, equipment specification, input tothe equipment list, preliminary equipment GA drawings,etc.);
    • Perform preliminary, basic and detailedfacilities engineering studies / designin-house;
    • Verify mechanical equipmentpre-sizing, calculations, data sheets, design and supplyspecifications, associated Inspection & Test Plans,preliminary equipment lay-outs;
    • Preparerequisitions for mechanical equipment procurement and technicalbids evaluation;
    • Prepare the scope of workspecification, cost estimates, budgets, and technical dossiers forCFTs packages for mechanical related activities. Development ofCOMPANY particular project guidelines andprocedures;
    • Participate and conduct supervisionof the offshore mechanical survey campaigns (in line withContract/Frame Agreement);
    • Issue specificationsfor materials procurement according to COMPANY / Internationalstandards;
    • Lead the technical review of thebidders proposals and prepare technical recommendationsaccordingly;
    • Check and approve mechanicalengineering deliverables received from Contractors for DetailedEngineering;
    • Read and interpret facilitiesengineering drawings, designs and make necessary modifications orrecommendations;
    • Contributes to wider decisionmaking including the development of practices, processes andprocedures;
    • Follow-up Purchase Orders ofmechanical equipment to ensure timely approval, conformity ofdesign & participate in technical reviews and FAT withVendors;
    • Interface with Process, Piping andInstrumentation disciplines mainly and interface with ProcurementDept;
    • Ensure that the Engineering Contractorssubmit all deliverables on time and checks them regularly toachieve COMPANY quality expectations;
    • Interfacewith FOPS entity for the integration of new mechanical equipment inexisting;
    • Promote and support innovation andcost reduction initiatives in the mechanicaldiscipline;
    • Report to Brownfield team on aweekly basis and when decisions impacting E&C activitiesmust be taken.
