    Key Job Accountabilities - I

    • Perform the accounting of all revenues ensuring correct invoicecoding. Perform month end reconciliation which reconciles volumesto the production allocation reports. Perform the quarterly priceadjustment reconciliation and post the adjustment invoices andco-ordinate the monthly account reconciliation process and performown account reconciliations.
    • Review allocated and directoperating costs for reasonableness and review the monthly capacityusage reconciliation. Review lease postings for accuracy andreasonableness and ensure all cash calls are posted and accountedfor correctly.
    • Compile the cash forecasting fortechnical SAP companies by coordinating and reviewing input fromother areas of finance and review cash forecast for reasonablenessbefore sending to treasury.
    • Perform the monthly taxcalculation. Coordinate and review inputs from Asset &Materials, Allocation and Planning. Prepare for and calculate taxpost TPOB regime expiry. Address working level queries raised byShareholder representative.
    • Contribute to thepreparation of the annual financial statements, in particulardrafting various financial notes and ensuring compliance with themost up to date IFRS reporting standards. Key Job Accountabilities- II
    • Contribute to the preparation of MonthlyShareholder Reporting and query resolution from internal andexternal stakeholders. Produce the statistical reporting i.e., PPIreport, QCB Report, Sales report, foreign investments survey,energy survey, and adhoc reports as required.
    • Completethe monthly upload of the production volume data in BPC andassociated revenues and ensure integrity of the inputs into theplanning system.
    • Contribute to the preparation of theannual budget and long-term business plan (WP&B).
    • Co-ordinate the approval and implementation of masterdata requests, ensuring that the various reporting hierarchies areconsistently updated with new accounts or amended mappings
    • Ensure a strong understanding of the complianceframework including standards of internal controls, addressingcontrol gaps, and recommending process changes. Ensure an effectivecontrol environment is applied including application of Table ofFinancial Authority (TOFA). Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in an Accounting, Finance, Economic orCommercial discipline; or
    • Bachelor's degree inany discipline and an internationally recognised professionalaccounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA, CFA, CIMA, CMA, CPA).Knowledge and/or Experience - I
    • 5 years'experience in the oil and gas industry.
    • Strong knowledgeof accounting systems.
    • Strong financial knowledge in arange of areas including compilation and analysis.
    • Strong commercial knowledge related to the oil and gas industry.
    Technical and Business Skills - I

    • Proficient in writtenand spoken English.
    • Computer literacy, including workingknowledge of business software programmes such as EC, SAP and BPC.
    • Ability to communicate effectively withinternal/external clients.
    • Specialised financialknowledge in a range of areas including consolidation, compilationand analysis.
