- Supervises kitchen shift operationsand ensures compliance with all Food & Beverage policies,standards and procedures.
- Maintains purchasing,receiving and food storage standards.
- Operatesand maintains all department equipment and reportsmalfunctions.
- Supports procedures for food& beverage portion and wastecontrols.
- Develop and implement environmentallyfriendly processes and procedures for food preparation, energy useand waste management in the restaurant.
- Checksthe quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure thatstandards are met.
- Assists in determining howfood should be presented and creates decorative fooddisplays.
