Roles and Responsibilities:

HSE Oversight:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards, specifically in plant and oil and gas operations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks and hazards.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Perform risk assessments and create mitigation plans to minimize workplace accidents and incidents.
- Collaborate with operational teams to address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety.
Training and Education:
- Organize and conduct HSE training programs for employees, emphasizing best practices and compliance requirements.
- Foster awareness through campaigns and initiatives to promote a safetyconscious work environment.
Incident Investigation:
- Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending preventive measures.
- Maintain incident records, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports on HSE performance, including statistics, incidents, and compliance levels.
- Ensure accurate and updated documentation related to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in HSE, particularly in plant and oil and gas settings.
- Indepth knowledge of local safety regulations and industry standards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
