- Provide certain direct andindirect patient care activities under supervision of a RegisteredNurse
- Assist in transferring and moving ofpatients
- Assist in transporting laboratorysamples
- Assist in bedmaking
- Assist in transferring, collecting andorganizing medical and non-medical supplies andFFE
- Assist in cleaning of medical equipment andfurniture
- Maintenance and monitoring of oxygencylinders
- Transmit and collect files anddocuments to medical records
- Transport andcollect CSSD materials and equipment from thedepartments
- Files and maintains records so thatthey are orderly and easy to find
- Assists withthe maintenance of the database and filing system, both electronicand hard copy
- Performs other duties asdelegated by the Supervisor
- Support thedelivery of patient care and customer service by providingadministrative support to the department or section asrequired
- Must be able to dorotating shifts (Day/Evening/Night)
- Must beable to use a computer and perform basic computertasks
- Must attend all mandatory health andsafety training courses
- Must be reliable andadaptive to emergency situations
