    Business Development Executive - FMCG client

    Doha, Qatar


    Job Overview

    The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales in the region by retaining current customers and bringing in new clients/customers.


    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Responsible for Central & West Africa Business and accountable for Revenue and Trading profit objectives.
    2. Key FPR for managing the distribution alliances between the HQ and respective country partners.
    3. Responsible for delivering budgeted business-wise top line performance and net contribution.
    4. Coordination with supply chain/logistic/finance teams for timely servicing of orders.
    5. Plan and forecast the annual business plan for assigned customers, new product launches, sales performance, profitability, forecasting, and promotional campaign planning and execution for increasing brand visibility.
    6. Identify opportunities for entering new countries in West & Central Africa.
    7. Expand portfolio of products in different countries, maximize sales, and ensure business continuity.
    8. Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of markets in terms of potential, size, and share for the products.
    9. Develop a thorough understanding of Food & Cosmetic laws applicable to the relevant geographies.
    10. Benchmark competition pricing/branding and maintain a repository of all data.
    11. Ensure periodic reconciliation of accounts from channel partners/key customers.

    Experience, Skills and Competencies Required:

    1. Secondary Sales performance.

    Salary: Estimated salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Experience: At least 7 years of FMCG sales experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Business Development/Modern Trade/Export Business.

    Industry: FMCG candidates will be given preference, but candidates from all industries are welcome to apply.
