We are a rapidly growing restaurant group seeking an experienced and highly organized Accounting Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the overall financial management and reporting of our multiple restaurant locations.

This role will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information while upholding the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations, including monthend and yearend closing processes, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and tax compliance
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Review and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual financial statement audits
• Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card transactions, and intercompany transactions
• Assist in the development and implementation of cost control measures and identify opportunities for improving profitability
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with restaurant managers and other key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of accounting team members
• Stay uptodate with the latest accounting standards, industry trends, and tax regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CMA, or CPA) is required
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements in Qatar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with accounting software
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
