    • Must have good experience inreview of design engineering documents such as equipment datasheets, specifications, power system studies, Single line diagrams(SLD), Protection and metering documents etc.
    • Must beable to coordinate with various vendors to get the vendordeliverables and review them effectively.
    • Required toparticipate in engineering studies such as SAFOP, HAZID, HAZOP,SIMOPS, SIL, ALARP, BOW-TIE analysis etc.
    • Candidate mustbe able to review the Electrical engineering drawings such as interconnection, Earthing lay outs, distribution board wiringsprotection & metering drawings etc.
    • A goodexposure to UPS and battery banks is mandatory. Electrical dataacquisition systems such as Power monitoring systems (PMS) andSCADA networks is highly desirable.
    • Must have hands onexperience in the startup checks and commissioning activities ofElectrical equipment's such as motors, Fans, compressorsetc. Electrical Feeders, Motor control Centers (MCC), Remotecontrol units (RCU), Current/Power and Voltage transducers andtheir installation and commissioning.
    • Good experience inthe installation and startup of electrical cabinets, associatedcabling, and other tests in accordance with the applicablestandards and guidelines prevails in Oil and gas industry.
    • Good knowledge in the Installation of Transformers (Bothoil filled & Dry type), the pre start up checks andcommissioning is desirable.
    • Hands own experience inpreparing and reviewing the calculation software documents such ascable sizing, power calculations, load calculations, short circuitanalysis, voltage drop etc.
    • God knowledge in smallpower, LV/ELV installations is required.
    • It is expectedthat the candidate is aware of Oil and gas construction practicesand safety guide lines.
    • Must be aware of internationalstandards and design practices such as IEC, NEC, NEMA, BS and ShellDEP etc. and good exposure to prepare construction documentationsuch as method statements, review of startup and commissioningdocuments of electrical systems and equipment's, reviewof inspection test plans etc
