- Maintaining a personal LogBook to demonstrate currency and recency, on completion of On theJob training (OJT) activities, sign other personnel's LogBooks as appropriate within your trade and skills boundaries. Ifyou are an approved designated assessor, undertake authorisationand task competency approvals, and check Pt 145 license applicationpacks prior to submission
- Undertaking and completetasked maintenance & diagnostic activities on an aircraftor components which may include, as appropriate, aircraft groundhandling, flight servicing, aircraft role changes, componentremovals, inspections, repairs, modifications, faultrectifications, replacements and/or functional/system test
- Supervising team to ensurethat maintenance is undertaken to schedule and highlight anyissues, escalate as required. Report on any impact to the widerprogramme
- Demonstrating aflexible and proactive attitude to carrying out responsibilitiesappropriate to the role and takes direction appropriately
- Ensuring staff aresufficiently competent and approved for the maintenance tasksallocated to them
- Maintaining personal& teams task authorisation for working on aircraft orcomponents in accordance with regulatory requirements

The post holder will be an experienced andskilled Avionic Technician and Supervisor undertaking a range ofdetailed maintenance activities on aircraft or aircraft components.
The post holder requires an excellentunderstanding of the approved data set and is competent tosupervise personnel carrying out maintenance instructions inaccordance with the organisation's regulatory framework.He is responsible for tasking of work & supervision ofpersonnel/people management. Responsible for meeting agreeddelivery targets at a tactical level. Demonstrates peoplemanagement and leadership skills. Demonstrates awareness of broaderexternal dependencies and identifies areas for continuousimprovement. In addition, the post holder may have certainprivileges delegated from the Maintenance Manager.
Demonstrates a distinct ability to analyse anddiagnose faults to equipment & assemblies, followdiagnostic procedures and work effectively within a team. Provideguidance to less experienced team members in a diverse and dynamicoperational environment.
