- Assessunit operation and instruct corrective action to resolve processproblems.
- Develop monthly performance reports for relatedunits in Jubail and Yanbu using tools such as APAC, Ex-aquantum,DCS trends, PRO II, Uniformance, DYNAMO, etc.
- Suggestimprovements for process control strategies.
- Review andassess the overall performance of plants and equipment, such ascompressors, pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns,etc.
- Identify losses and propose recommendations forimprovement.
- Provide necessary support to operationsstaff during shutdown, start-up, complex troubleshooting, andcritical or emergency situations.
- Ensure plant processintegrity through a well-defined operating envelope and propermonitoring of critical process parameters.
- Contribute toProcess Safety by monitoring Process Safety Performance Indicators(PSPI) and proposing improvements.
- Support theimplementation of standards and recommendations from the industry(EIGA, API, etc.).
- Participate in Alarm Managementcommittee and MOC review committee.
- Participate and/orlead process Hazard Analysis (PHA) for revalidations andprojects.
- Act as SHE element administrator or Sub-elementcommittee member.
- Prepare study reports and/or processspecifications for proposals for plant changes/modifications (MOC),projects, and technical ideas initiated.
- Supportdefinition and implementation of Capital projects by providinginput for conceptual Design Package (CDP), technical input toInvitation to Bid (ITB), and technical support duringexecution.
- Contribute and provide technical support forinvestigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) initiatives.
- Utilize reliability methodologies (RCM, RBI, RIS, ACA).
- Interact and handle communication with Licensors, Suppliers, ThisCompany Technology and Innovation (T&I), Asset TechnologyCenter (ATC), other affiliates, and vendors.
- Provideengineering input for scope of work preparation and technicalevaluation for external services.
- Assist the ProcessEngineering Manager in additional duties such as contribution topeople development.
- Follow up and close RCA, PHA, PIR,and audit recommendations.
- Provide technical input toresolve customer queries.
- Contribute to energy andsustainability programs by optimizing chemical, power, and waterconsumption

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years as a Process Engineer (Technical Support) in therelevant field.
- Project experience, includingpre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup of chemical/ASUplants is an added qualification.
- Familiarity withinternational standards, codes, and regulations.
- Experience utilizing simulation programs.
- Strongtechnical, cost analysis, and technical writing skills.
- Experience with Process Elastomer in manufacturing PBR (PolyButadiene Rubber).
- Good knowledge of Thermodynamics,Process/Equipment design, operation, and control ofchemicals.
