IT Network Consultant/Network Engineer required by a Doha based financial services group. The role offers a TAX-FREE basic salary of circa $120k USD per annum plus other benefits.

The client's English-speaking environment is a mix of Qatari nationals and IT and business professionals from other countries, many from the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

Our client will pay for relocation costs to Qatar.

Due to the Qatari entry criteria, a university degree is a mandatory requirement. Experience gained in a financial services environment would be a real plus.

The core technical skills required are:

  • Cisco Switches and Routers
  • Cisco and Palo alto Firewalls
  • Cisco FTD and FMC
  • Cisco Authentication Servers and Cisco ISE
  • SNS Appliance.
  • Cisco Wireless technology
  • VPN technologies and implementations
  • Cisco and Palo alto.
  • Cisco Identity Service Engine
  • Cisco ISE and Force scout
  • Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancer
  • Fire eye Malware Protection System EX/NX
  • EMPS and WMPS.


  • Infoblox

  • IPAM, DNS
  • Software Defined Network-Cisco ACI


  • Dynamic Routing protocols

  • BGP, OSPF, EIGRP Etc.
  • Network Routing and Switching technologies
  • Layer2 Technologies and services.
  • Networking, cabling, IT Security thorough concepts and Documentation.
  • Cisco CUCM, Ip telephony and Video conferencing systems.

Professional Experience and Key deliverables:

  • Indepth knowledge of Enterprise Network and Security designs and operation processes.
  • Capable of Project planning, scheduling, and coordination of projects.
  • Identification and setting of organization goals, strategy, and scheduling of Networking projects.
  • Ensuring network and services are running smoothly and business continuity is maintained.
  • Implement, Manage and Maintain Data Center networks, Wide Area Networks, Local Area Campus, and Branch networks, wired and wireless network infrastructure.
  • Usage and implementation of IP Routing protocols, OSPF/EIGRP/BGP and switching methodologies in detail.
  • Network monitoring and troubleshooting. $120k USD per annum TAX FREE plus other benefits. Hybrid working environment.
