Machine Technician Job Duties:

Machine technicians have a wide range of duties and responsibilities, which can include:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery and equipment according to company specifications and standards.
Diagnosing machine malfunctions by reviewing error codes, inspecting components, and testing systems
Diagnosing problems using blueprints, diagrams, schematics, or other mechanical drawings
Perform regular maintenance and safety checks on all machines to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues and avoid breakdown.
Keep accurate records of machine maintenance and repairs.
Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely manner.
Installing, repairing, or maintaining industrial machinery or equipment such as motors, pumps, valves, monoblock battery, etc.
Troubleshooting problems with machines to determine causes of breakdowns or malfunctions.
Repairing electrical components such as wiring, switches, AC and circuit boards and wornout parts.
Train other technicians and Machine Operators on proper machine operation and after usage to avoid misused.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Stay up to date on industry trends and developments.
Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Associate's degree in machine technology, mechanics, or a related field
Technical training in machine technology, mechanics, or a related field
5 to 10 years' experience working with machineries.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
Excellent problemsolving skills
With previous experience in fixing the following type of machines from different brands (Ride On Sweeper
City Master and C82, Ride On Sweeper and Scrubber, Walk Behind Scrubber, Buffing, Single Disc, Sweeper, Vacuum Cleaner wet & dry & Back pack/Upright Vacuum, Blower, Carpet Extractor(COMBI), Carpet Foam Generator, carpet extractor, Escalator Cleaner, Jet Pressure, Manual Sweeper, Steamer
Gum Remover.

Salary:
QAR2, QAR3,500.00 per month
