Job summary: Sales person managing Leisure Corporate or Group accounts within the Sales & Marketing department and possibly working with local and international travel agents/ tour operators conference-meeting-incentive organizers/DMC for individual and group bookings.
Responsibilities: Solicit existing and potential customers follow up established accounts on regular basis by phone correspondence or by personal contact. Set up appointments make personal sales calls telemarketing and site inspections to all existing and potential accounts from corporate commercial accounts Follow up on lost business bring information about them to the knowledge of the department superior Negotiate with all customers send out offerscontracts regarding individual and group business Follow the sales marketing results propose corrective actions if needed Explore industry related data new developments in certain agencies structures new assignments industrial complexes new projects which could be interest benefit of the hotel distribute this information to their colleagues Entertain decision makers of Clients in F&B outlets of hotel take part in promotional activities with them Keep close follow up on developments of competitor hotels occupancy structural alterations renovation special campaigns rate promotions marketing efforts theme events Bring ideas participate in preparations of promotional theme events other promotional activities invitation lists Handle group individual reservation requests personally Maintain existence efficient customer database system SFA capable identifying reporting sales calls other sales activities carry out updating exercise certain periods time Update Customers latest developments hotel informs hotel management changes Customer profile Participate preparing sales action plans attending sales meetings developing new ideas special packages programs promotional activities undertaken by Sales Department Food Beverage Prepare reports each sales calls covering company comments requirements complaints Customers etc Cover assigned accounts designated Segment geographic area visit them at least twice annually Present weekly activity report coveringsales call reports site inspections fam trips new agencies meetings entertainment functions participated during week presents Sales Director Accomplish additional work assigned Department head Division head required Cross selling Kempinski Hotels Area Globally Additional responsibilities tasks can added any according needs business Hotel.
