    JOB SUMMARY

    The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a key role in creating and implementing communications strategies for the hotel. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Communication, this position focuses on delivering consistent brand messages across various channels to enhance the hotel's image. The main objective is to drive consumer awareness, increase market share, and promote the hotel's portfolio through targeted marketing plans and engaging campaigns. This role specifically highlights Food and Beverage promotions to hotel guests and local patrons. Being part of the Marketing and Communication team means being well-connected to regional resources, collaborating with eCommerce and Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of local marketing efforts with overall selling strategies. Apart from managing traditional and digital marketing activities, this position also contributes to public relations initiatives for the hotel. Success is gauged by the impact on sales and revenue, social media engagement, and the effectiveness of leveraging available resources to create compelling marketing campaigns.

    CANDIDATE PROFILE

    Education and Experience

    Required:

    • 2year degree from an accredited university in Marketing Public Relations Business Administration or related major and 4 years experience in sales, marketing, digital, or related field; hospitality marketing or digital advertising background preferred

    OR

    • 4year bachelor's degree in Marketing Public Relations Business or related major; 2 years experience in sales, marketing, digital, or related field; hospitality marketing or digital advertising agency experience preferred.

    CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

    Hotel Marketing and Advertising

    • Oversees the annual marketing plan in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure budget adherence.
    • Collaborates with various departments to execute targeted promotions and campaigns for in-house guests, driving incremental revenue.
    • Serves as the liaison between the marketing team and advertising agency for tactical advertising campaigns, especially related to Food and Beverage promotions.
    • Manages F&B media schedules and ensures timely settlement of accounts.
    • Coordinates with Revenue Management to optimize offer placements and target relevant consumer groups with advertisements.
    • Conducts email marketing and display advertising initiatives.
    • Maintains close engagement with Cluster eCommerce manager for program alignment and performance evaluation.
    • Ensures digital advertising aligns with brand voice.

    Social Media Content Management

    • Drives social media engagement and updates content on digital channels.
    • Designs and implements promotions across various digital platforms for F&B, weddings, spa, rooms, and conferences.
    • Proactively manages online reputation by monitoring guest feedback and responding accordingly.

    Public Relations and Visual Asset Management

    • Develops and executes PR plans in collaboration with agencies.
    • Maintains relationships with local media, particularly food critics and bloggers.
    • Handles press releases, community events, and promotional activities.
    • Manages media agencies and vendors for strategic media placements.
    • Supports PR strategy to drive quality press coverage.
    • Coordinates photography for promotional materials.

    Direct Marketing and Collateral Development

    • Coordinates and produces Hotel and F&B marketing materials.
    • Manages inventory and quality of marketing collateral.
    • Assists in the creation of F&B signage and promotions.
    • Executes F&B direct marketing activities.
    • Ensures all collateral adheres to brand standards.

    General

    • Participates in communication activities, focusing on F&B promotions and campaigns.
    • Contributes to the hotel's newsletters.
    • Collaborates with different teams for successful F&B promotions.
    • Keeps the hotel's online platforms updated regularly.
    • Provides training and leadership in marketing.
    • Reports property marketing performance to relevant teams.
    • Stays updated on industry trends and competitors' marketing efforts.
