Job Purpose

Develop and leadcomprehensive Loss Prevention activities including input and reviewof philosophies, codes of practice and standards during FEED,detailed EPC, commissioning and start-up to ensure compliance withNFXP standards.

Lead the development of the Design Safety Case andassociated deliverables and ensure these are reviewed and alignedwith the OPCO Review Contractor s Loss Prevention/Process SafetyEngineering design deliverables.

Support the FEED Contractor byproviding clear and timely guidance to close out LPstudies/activities to complete engineering designmilestones.
Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Chemical,Mechanical, Safety Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledgeand/or Experience

20 years experience within industrialsafety and loss prevention in the oil and gas industry withemphasis on risk assessments, safe systems of work, and emergencyprocedures, preferably in a major project environment.

At least 5years in a Major LNG project Experience with Quantitative RiskAssessments Experience with fire fighting design Experience withHAZID, HAZOP, Bow Tie Analysis, Physical Effects ModellingExperience developing Design Safety Case

Key Job Accountabilities

• Coordinate Loss Prevention Engineering project deliverables withContractor personnel,

Project Management Team (PMT),Qatargas operating and project personnel.

• Lead / DriveEPC contractor to deliver technical safety studies (e.g. SafetyCase, QRA, HAZOPs,

PHA studies etc.) to deliver perexecution plan.

• Ensure cost effective Loss Preventionprograms are utilized by PMT to improveproject

efficiency, reduce costs, maintain high qualitysafety levels and schedules.

• Participate in LossPrevention activities at Contractors offices to align plans andschedules

with safety and operational requirements asagreed in project deliverables.

• Steward contractorsLoss Prevention execution activities by understanding plans,procedures,

objectives and overall job requirements;verifying contractor employs adequate numbersof
qualified personnel, appropriate design toolsincluding computer hardware and software;
adheres tospecifications, standards and design verification processes andprovides all contract
documentation for Loss Preventionscope including accurate and timely progressreporting
measures.
