Holy Quran/Arabic Instructor- Mauritania
Benchmarks and standards:
Responsibilities
- Teach Holy Quranic studies and Arabic language to students of various ages and proficiency levels.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the needs of individual students and small groups.
- Provide guidance and support to students in their Quranic memorization and recitation.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Holy Quran and Tajweed rules.
- Proven experience in teaching Arabic language to nonArabic speakers.
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with students of various ages and backgrounds.
- Prior experience in curriculum development and lesson planning is preferred.
