• Develop and regularly update the aviation development strategy to keep it in line with the business strategy.
• Ensure that connectivity and traffic volumes increase in line with Qatar's 2030 tourism strategy.
• Ensure that Aeronautical revenues for HIA are maximised in accordance with HIA business strategy.
• Manage preparation of aeronautical revenue budgets/forecasts to support HIA business plan and strategy.
• Develop Aeronautical pricing (charges) incentive policy, recommend to Executive Management for approval.
• Build a supportive relationship with key stakeholders (Qatar Tourism Authority, QCAA, QAS, etc.) to ensure that strategy goals are met.
• Manage airline business development for HIA with a view of utilizing Airport capacity by attracting new airlines and route expansion of existing airlines as per the approved business strategy.
• Identify network gaps/opportunities and prepare business case for potential airlines.
• Setup and recommend revenue plans by reviewing financial, traffic and other related assumptions to ascertain profitability for HIA and present findings and recommendations to Executive Management.
• Recommend revision in regulated aeronautical tariff to Executive Management considering cost of service, asset utilization, benchmarking in compliance with QCAA rules and to oversee and ensure its implementation is in line with IATA rules & regulations
