Internal Auditor

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Internal Auditor to ensure the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.


Position:
Internal Auditor


As an Internal Auditor at Ibn Ajayan Projects, you will play a critical role in evaluating and enhancing our internal control environment.

You will be responsible for assessing the effectiveness of financial, operational, and compliance processes, identifying areas for improvement, and providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and drive operational efficiency.

Your insights and recommendations will be instrumental in safeguarding the assets, reputation, and sustainability of our organization.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential areas of exposure and vulnerability.
  • Plan and execute internal audits in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare clear, concise audit reports documenting findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred.
- years of progressive experience in internal auditing, risk management, or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and audit techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and criticalthinking skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
