    • Acting as the senior person on site responsible for administration of the contract.
    • Leading, directing and monitoring the performance of all site engineers and support staff as appropriate.
    • Monitoring the work of staff members for conformance with all provisions of the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
    • Monitoring the contractor's program of works to ensure on time delivery.
    • Responding with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with Contract documents.
    • Advising and assisting the Contractor on construction procedures and contractual matters.
    • Coordinating the construction work with the Steering Committee, Local Authorities and Contractors.
    • Ensuring prompt exchange of correspondence, submittals, RFI's and Change Orders to all parties.
    • Maintaining correspondence, submittal, RFI and Change Order logs in accordance with Project Procedures.
    • Preparing recommendations to the Construction Manager.
    • Reviewing claims from the contractor and preparing recommendations for the Senior RE. Assisting in negotiations with contractors regarding the value of claims or any changes in schedule.

    • Reviewing the Contractors' progress.
    • Monitoring the work performed, the materials incorporated in the works, the materials stored at the site and the Contractors' manpower and equipment.
    • Attending weekly, monthly and other progress meetings held at the site.
    • Identifying constraints and recommend corrective measures.
    • Assisting in the final inspection of the work.
    • Monitoring the final completion of the work.
    • Coordinating permitting, approval and handover as needed to assist in smooth progress and completion of the work. Keep the Authorities Coordinator advised of all appropriate interactions between the client and local and regulatory authorities.
    • Receiving and log all submittals. Distribute according to Project Procedures and track progress of the submittal review process. Prepare final responses to the Contractor's at the conclusion of the review process. Alert CRE and responsible RE when submittals are behind accepted schedules.
    • Preparing responses to the Contractors.
    • Preparing and transmitting all site directions and instructions.
    • Ensuring the correctness and completeness of the As Built drawings in coordination with the As Built Engineer.
    • Preparing weekly and monthly reports, as required for the site record and/or provides input to supplement reporting by the Planning Manager.
    • Observing the safety procedures followed by the Contractor. Issue instructions as necessary to correct safety violations.
    • Assisting with directives from Construction Manager, Chief Construction Manager and the Client's Representative.
    • Providing formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.
