    Perform as a focal point for customer technical support including service contracts, projects, and technical solutions. Advise customers on preventative maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve product performance and customer satisfaction. Responsible for coordination of Emerson personnel and service activities to ensure the delivery of the results encouraged by the customer.

    In this role, you will primarily be supporting services and project team as we work with customers to plan and implement their service requests and projects execution. Performing on site opportunity assessments (Site Survey) and reviewing of all DCS and SIS Software HW & SW configuration requirements and crafting and implementing the solutions both in an Offline or Online environment.

    Part of this role is to attend as Site Resident Engineer rotation, Preventive Maintenance task and attend to any Site Emergency Calls and meet the required response time.

    Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

    Performing advanced maintenance tasks in accordance with customer requirements

    Providing recommendations to the customer on product or solution, improvements, and system health checks

    Performing and leading service projects and taking ownership of customer coordination.

    Providing resolution of complex technical issues and resolving Customer disruptions

    Providing technical expertise for products and services to support Customers, Emerson operation teams and Sales / Proposal teams.

    Perform on-site services such as Modification works (eMOCs), Solving, support Emergency On-call, Site Evaluation Services and Basic to Advanced Cybersecurity Assessment.

    Mentoring Service Engineers and Technicians

    Managing a team of service engineers as needed and lead assigned installed-base Maintenance executions.

    Recognize and accept HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in Emerson's Company Policy and Procedures

    Finish all assigned Technical Trainings and Safety Trainings for Personal Development on priority-basis and to secure Professional to Expert Certifications.

    Be aware about the latest updates, KBAs and new features in DeltaV control system and Cybersecurity products.

    Provide technical expertise for products and services to support customers in diagnostics and solving of complex technical issues bringing up / collaborating with Emerson GSC and Product Engineering to help resolve product issues.

    Assist in closing out all outstanding calls of Installed base in Qatar/Kuwait under Emerson Global Support Center.

    Proactively identify Service / Product opportunities and serve as Sales Ambassador on site and communicates sales leads to Sales Team.

    Perform and lead service projects and take responsibility for lead client support activities such as site survey, feed study, site installation, start up and commissioning services and customer trainings.

    Develop various design documentation including system architecture, functional design specifications, Software design Specifications, Method Statements, in line with project requirements.

    Perform customer FAT and SAT, Plant Start-up and Commissioning and Upgrade.

    Apply SMS, Guardian website, SureService Portal and standard Services Apps.

    Aligning with all Emerson requirements for business processes including timesheets, site visit reports, Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis, Incident Reporting, and all other documentation in line with Emerson internal procedures.

    What do I need to be considered for this role?

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (including control engineering, computer engineering, Instrumentation, or electronics, Electrical, etc.) from an accredited University or College
    • Validated experience in crafting and implementing Industrial control systems installation with Emerson's DeltaV system.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills proficient in English.
    • Experience in DCS programming: Creation of Customized Function blocks, Sequences, Calculations and Equations implementation, logical relations, Process control, Alarm Management, and Process Graphics Development.
    • Experience in Modbus serial / OPC Communications / PI and Bus Technologies (Fieldbus, Profibus, AS-i bus, DeviceNet).
    • Experience with On-site implementation of DeltaV / Cybersecurity Projects, testing and commissioning and service execution.
    • Experience in Construction and site with exposure to loop checking, installation and problem solving of transmitters, pressure switches, level switches, control valves, F&G detectors, flow meters and motorized valves.
    • Knowledgeable in Programming Languages is a plus (Visual Basic, C++, Java, etc.)
    • Ability to travel 25-40% (International).
