Key Qualifications:

-
Must have 10+ years in GCC in Design:


  • Must hold a Bachelors Degree in Architecture (MANDATORY):
  • Must have experience in Design of Infrastructure and utility buildings, structural aesthetics and a through understanding of Qatar's Local Building Codes, QCS and Qatar Civil Defense Regulations.
  • Must be advanced in Revit, AutoCAD and other relevant design tools and software.
  • Proficient in Architectural Principles and practices

Key Responsibilities:


  • Regular communication with project managers / team / clients to update the status and to resolve any technical issues.
  • Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and design concepts.
  • Using the TOR to identify clients' needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals.
  • Initiate requirements gathering, designing, and implementing client requirements.
  • Controlling projects from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design.
  • Utilize 3D for enhance project visualization.
  • Review and approve architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Reviews and checks design documents for correctness and conformity with project requirements and specifications, including local and international building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Finalize design within budgets and timelines.
